Welcome to Master Program on Public Policy, Governance and Anti-corruption Studies

Master of Public Policy, Governance and Anti-corruption Studies (PGAS) is an innovative academic program designed to deal with wide range of public policy and governance issues along with enhancing anti-corruption knowledge and skills of public sector. The Programme is a recognized academic institution within the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences of Tribhuvan University located at the University Campus of Tribhuvan University in Kirtipur, Kathmandu, Nepal. The programme offers two-years Masters degrees in public policy, governance, and anti-corruption studies. It is a pivotal institution in shaping and advancing Nepal's academic framework in public policy and governance. Its inclusive academic offerings and research equip students with the multidisciplinary skills needed to tackle public administration challenges, policy-making, and combating corruption.

PGAS was established in 2021 as a Master’s program in Public Policy, Governance and Anti-Corruption Studies (PGAS) is the first academic institution in Nepal providing a degree on good governance. This programme is designed for individuals who are passionate about driving meaningful change and tackling some of the most pressing challenges of corruption in recent time. PGAS-TU aspires to be a Centre of Excellence that upholds ethical standards and social responsibility, a motivating centre of education that fosters skill development, cultivates reflective global citizens and leaders, and is open to all.

In this context, PGAS is dedicated to delivering quality education and offering the essential resources needed for students' academic growth, research, and knowledge production in the fields of Public Policy, Governance, and Anti-Corruption Studies. There is a strong focus on enhancing students' research abilities and analytical skills.

Courses Offered Masters of Arts (MA) in Public Policy, Governance and Anti-Corruption Studies (MA-PGAS) two years (Four Semester) Programme.
